FAQ
Why does the ERROR indicator keep illuminating?
Keep quiet and minimize movements while measuring to prevent raised blood pressure that can affect reading accuracy. Relax your body during measurement and avoid muscle activation in the measured arm. Use a cushion for support if necessary. Please ensure that the blood pressure monitor is positioned at the same level as your heart. If it is placed lower or higher than the heart, an incorrect reading may be obtained.
How to correctly wear this cuff?
1. Place the cuff around your left upper arm, ensuring that the MEDCURSOR logo on the blood pressure monitor is facing downwards and that the lower edge is positioned approximately 2-3 centimeters above your elbow. 2. Tighten the free end of the cuff and secure it by fastening the Velcro together. The cuff should fit snugly around your upper arm, with a gap of two fingers between your arm and the cuff. 3. Rest your arm and palm facing upwards on a table, making sure that the cuff is at the same height as your heart.
What should I do before measuring my blood pressure?
Here are some recommendations: 1. Avoid eating or drinking anything for 30 minutes, and refrain from consuming coffee, alcohol, and tobacco. 2. Avoid engaging in vigorous physical activity for at least 30 minutes. 3. Ensure your bladder is empty before the measurement. 4. Sit calmly and relax for 5 minutes prior to taking your blood pressure.
Why can't I see the blood pressure history data I measured on the device after syncing it to the app?
This is because the Medcursor app clears the historical measurement data on the device after completing the data sync. After syncing the data to the app, the blood pressure device no longer displays the previously measured historical data.
What is the length of this arm cuff?
It's suitable for people with an upper arm circumference between 9-17 inches (22-42 cm).
Is it possible to detach the cuff?
The cuff is an essential part of the blood pressure monitor. The cuff and blood pressure monitor are integrated and can not be disassembled.
How can I determine if my blood pressure is normal?
SYS: <140 mmHg; DIA: <90 mmHg; You can use our MERCURSOR App to view intuitive charts and analysis, which will display your current blood pressure range and record your readings for your convenience to reference and share with your doctor.
Does it need batteries?
No, it is equipped with a built-in lithium battery that eliminates the need for battery installation or replacement.
Do I have to use my left hand for measurement?
We recommend using the left arm for measurement. If necessary, you can use the right arm as an alternative.
Can I use different arms to measure blood pressure?
We recommend all measurements should be taken on the same arm.
How do I clean it?
Clean the device using a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using any abrasive or volatile cleaning agents.

Please adjust the cuff properly following the guidelines mentioned in Answer 2 about wearing (or refer to Page 23 of the user manual) before taking another measurement. E-2: External strong disturbance. Measurement can fail when near a mobile phone or other high-radiation device. Also, please maintain silence during measurement and avoid speaking.
